Profiles of a wedding couple

Remember how I posted recently about a very special commission in which I drew a watercolour portrait for a bride who wanted to give it to her future husband as a wedding present? Well, she couldn't of course tell him about this job as they were preparing their special day but she was so pleased with my work that she did tell him about me and showed him my portfolio. They decided to commission me with the drawing of their profiles so that they could use them as the main motif for the graphic of their invitation set.

The result is the drawing above these lines.

Maureen had some wonderful ideas that she had collected on Pinterest (how did we ever got married before Pinterest?) and she engaged a talented graphic designer who set this sweet and fresh package for the wedding guests using my drawing:

The couple was delighted and so was I. And I guess the guests too. I mean: I would love to receive such a delicious bundle in my mailbox.  They used the drawing for other material like direction signs and table sitting plan etc.

If you are preparing your wedding too and want to give your invitations a special personal touch don't doubt engaging an illustrator that you can brief with your personal wishes and taste. In this case M. had seen this drawing on my portfolio:

and she could tell me exactly what she wanted. I am sure you will find the illustrator who can draw your wishes true.
