Live drawing at Douglas reopening in Berlin
At the end of October I was once again in the capital, where I had the pleasure to draw for a luxury cosmetics brand at the reopening of the freshly renovated Douglas flagship store in Unter den Linden. Among the numerous guests there were not only the German managing directors of the most renowned cosmetic brands, but also various celebrities and models, some of whom are known from a well-known model casting show.
As in many of the last events, on this occasion I was also asked to draw in small format. The truth is that in summer I was a little skeptical about these cards, but right now I have to say that I love working in this size. And the guests seem to love it too: I drew non-stop and I was able to fascinate many of the guests who left with the gift of a quick watercolor under their arm, a souvenir of their outfit that night.
As I left, I was the one who took something special with me: it was already very late in the night and, on the way to the hotel, I saw Berlin hanging its Christmas decoration. Magic in the air!

LIVE ZEICHNEN BEIM DOUGLAS REOPENING IN BERLIN
Ende Oktober hat es mich mal wieder in die Hauptstadt verschlagen, wo ich bei der Wiedereröffnung im frischrenovierten Douglas Flagshipstore Unter den Linden im Auftrag einer Luxuskosmetikmarke zeichnen durfte. Unter den zahlreichen Gästen waren nicht nur die Geschäftsführer der renommiertesten Kosmetikmarken, sondern auch diverse Promis und Models, die manch einer etwa aus einer bekannten Model-Castingshow kennen dürfte.
Wie bereits auf mehreren Events in letzter Zeit waren auch hier wieder die Zeichnungen im kleinen Format gefragt – während ich im Sommer noch etwas skeptisch von diesem kleinen Karten war, habe ich mittlerweile eine gute Übung darin und konnte auch an diesem Abend wieder viele toll angezogene Gäste mit einer schnellen Aquarellskizze als Give-away begeistern.
Und auch ich konnte neben den vielen netten Begegnungen nach Feierabend noch etwas ganz Besonderes mitnehmen: Zu später Stunde beobachtete ich auf dem Weg zum Hotel, wie im nächtlichen Berlin die Weihnachtsdekoration aufgehängt wurde. Schon Zauber in der Luft!
