Lady Fuerte greeting cards available
This year I experienced summer before spring. My summer lasted from February to April and spring, as of 26 May, has not yet arrived. The sunny days this year were spent in Fuerteventura, where my husband and I were teleworking. With my events cancelled and my husband not having set foot in his office since March 2020, we decided to change our house arrest in dark Stuttgart for a warmer and brighter one.
The island of Fuerteventura with its peculiar landscape and the contrasts of materials I am not used to finally gave me permission to paint my first abstract pieces and inspired me to create the motifs of these postcards I bring you here today. My Fuerte Ladies.
In the video below you can see the whole process, from the first miniature sketches on my morning pages, as I suddenly got the idea and the urge to create the motifs, up to their digitalisation.
I had them printed in a limited edition of 75 units. They are on sale in my online shop in sets of three motifs with their corresponding sunny envelopes. Ideal for exclusive greetings this summer.
