Fast anderthalb Jahre her habe ich einer spanischen Frauenzeitschrift vorgeschlagen, ein Horoskop zu machen, in dem die Sternzeichen durch Schuhe dargestellt werden würden, mit denen sie gemeinsame Merkmale teilen würden, entweder vom Namen her (Wassermann: Gummistiefeln) oder von der Persönlichkeit her (Löwe: Luxus). Leider brauchte die Zeitschrift in Frage ein fertiges Horoskop in dem Moment und hatte keine Zeit, ein neues zu entwickeln. Ich habe es also auf eigener Faust gezeichnet. Vierzehn Monate später sehe ich Schuh-Horoskopen (sehr schöne, übrigens) in verschiedenen Print- und Online-Publikationen, was mir gefällt: die Idee war zeitgeistig. Aber dann wiederherum tut es mir leid, dass mein Horoskop in der Schublade bleibt. Ich werde es also hierher bringen. Heute beginnt der Monat vom Wassermann: Menschen, die Vertrauen in einer glücklichen Zukunft haben, sympathisch sind und gern für verlorene Sache kämpfen. Also: dancing in the rain.

Hace casi año y medio que propuse a una revista femenina española hacer un horóscopo en el que los símbolos del zodíaco estuviesen representados por zapatos con los que compartieran características, bien por el nombre del símbolo (acuario: botas de goma) o bien por su personalidad (leo: lujo). Desafortunadamente la revista en cuestión necesitaba en ese momento un horóscopo que ya estuviera terminado y no desarrollar uno nuevo. Así que lo hice por mi cuenta. Catorce meses después veo horóscopos de zapatos (preciosos, por cierto) en varias publicaciones impresas y online, lo que me alegra: la idea era oportuna.

Pero claro, me apena que mi horóscopo se quede en el cajón. Así que os lo voy a ir trayendo aquí. Hoy empieza el mes de acuario: que confía en un futuro feliz, es simpático y amigo de luchar por causas perdidas. O sea: dancing in the rain.

Almost year and a half ago I proposed a Spanish women's magazine to make a horoscope in which the zodiac symbols were represented by shoes that share characteristics either with the symbols name (Aquarius: rubber boots) or with its personality (Leo: luxury). Unfortunately the magazine in question needed a finished horoscope at that moment and did not have time to develop a new one. So I drew it on my own. Fourteen months later I see shoe horoscopes (gorgeous, by the way) in various print and online publications, which pleases me: the idea was the right one. But then again, I am sorry that my horoscope never saw the light. So I'm going to bring it here. Today begins the month of Aquarius: people who trust a happy future, are nice and fight for lost causes. That is: dancing in the rain.
